It is with great excitement that we would like to announce that there are two nominees in the Institute of Osteopathy Awards 2016 from The College of Osteopaths.
Maria Robinson has been nominated for the Research in Practice Award and Jim Crompton has been nominated for the Rising Star Award. Congratulations to you both!
The awards are the Institute of Osteopathy’s way of celebrating osteopathic success, and will be hosted at the annual iO Convention, November 25th – 26th at Beaumont Estate Hotel, Windsor.
The Research in Practice Award represents research that has been used to inform the way that we practice osteopathy and provide the best possible treatment for patients. Shortlisted nominees have the opportunity to present their work at the Annual convention. The winner will have their project profiled in Osteopathy Today and receive a year’s free membership of the iO.
The Rising Star Award is nominated by the osteopathic educational institutions and this year we were invited to put forward our top graduate from
2015/ 16 graduating class. These osteopaths, who are just joining our profession, will have already demonstrated a passion for osteopathic practice, combined with outstanding academic achievement, clinical skill and patient care.
We would like to wish both Maria and Jim the very best of luck.
